(GBR) Yesterday MediaSnackers was down in Marwell Hotel, Hamsphire (which has its very own zoo) to deliver two speaking sessions for the Clubs For Young People "Taking The Lead" conference.
We discussed the huge changes in the media landscape and contextualised why organisations who work with young people now need to consider social media operations and strategies.
Clubs for Young People held a conference in November designed to help chief execs and lead workers of voluntary youth organisations find their way through the Childrens Services jungle—so Marwell Zoo seemed an appropriate venue!
The conference was designed to inspire and motivate delegates to return to their organisations equipped with new ideas and innovations. DK of Mediasnackers took the delegates through the virtual world of how young people use the internet and other technology to communicate and participate. The sessions were very well recieved—feedback comments included:• really upbeat interesting presentation which helped with understanding what young people are experiencing
