MediaSnackers is two years old. Wow. The video above says it all…
The business plan is still fluid. The two underlying mantras still exist. More importantly, it still feels like a start.
I'm starting to measure the little momentum and success we've gained not by how many clients we got this year (nearly thirty by the way) or blog posts/podcasts/vodcasts we've produced, but by the stories we create (and are a part of):
• inspiring the first ever youth worker blogging in the UK
• leading a five week online social media course for young leaders in Tonga and Papua New Guinea
• producing podcasts for our New York-based partners…
…to name just three which stand out for me this year.
Every conference or event which I'm honoured to be part of, each training or consulting session we deliver, all the youth courses we lead on, every one of them has stories and moments which illustrate the connective and expressive power social media offers.
We have created laughs, tears, head nods, head shakes, cries of derision to table-banging support—how lucky we are we make a living this way.
Thank you for readin, replying, watching, listening, participating, suggesting, encouraging, criticising etc.—you are as much part of the story as we are.
