Showco Digital Journalist Intros: Part Four
[SUMMARY—Introducing Amber.]
(GBR) MediaSnackers will be at this years Showcomotion Children's Media Conference training up some young poeple to be digital journalists for the event. Let's meet them:
Hi I'm Amber. I have just finished studying English at Manchester University where I focussed mainly on creative writing and post-colonial literature. I now live in Somerset but would like to move to another new and exciting city soon to pursue a career in the media.
I'm passionate about poetry and how it can be presented in an accessible way. I also love independent films such as, 'In The Mood For Love' and 'The Lives of Others'. Since travelling on my gap year I have developed the travel bug (especially to any Spanish speaking countries) and would like to live in Latin America at some point in my life. I also love earrings especially dangly ones and believe that you can never have too many pairs.
I think that working with MediaSnackers will enhance my understanding of how the media can work with the voice and expression of this generation. It will also give me the opportunity to work as part of a team and learn from new people which is always a valuable and inspiring experience.
