The Dreams Project

dreamsproject

[SUMMARY—Daring to dream.]

(GBR) With a fantastic tagline of 'young people documenting the dream', the Dreams Project focusses on young athletes who are gearing themselves up for the London 2012 Olympics.

Filmed by young documentary film-makers (they have their own profiles online as well), the great online shorts and blogs offer an insight into the psyche and training of these committed young athletes. It also serves as a fantastic illustrative project to anyone looking to utilise new media and online platforms to tell their story—a great model to inspire.

One last thought: (due to the pervasiveness of online platforms and technology advances) this whole initiative would have not have been possible a decade ago…
