Teaching Social Media

Questions.

(WORLD) How should we be teaching social media?

Should there be a focus on the outcomes or processes involved?

Should there be illustrations regarding the impact through examples and case studies in their sector or outside?

Should we match the semantics of the organisations we're working with or challenge them through new terminology?

Should we actually be "teaching" or instead looking to become "facilitators" of learning?

Should we simply provide guidance, influence, inspiration or a set and structured curricula?

Should we listen more than we talk (like when kids say they want to use their mobiles in class and there is complimentary research to say it works)?

Just some questions running round my head at the moment which we also use in our speaking and training gigs with clients to promote discussion and thinking…
