As MTV moves into social networking with its site Flux, a new product on the market allows parents to control the time of day their children can use the computer and the total amount of time as well.
As MySpace becomes the most popular site on the net and Bebo tries to compete by allowing its artists to upload as many songs as they want to their profiles (MySpace only allows four songs), the US House of Representatives have passed a bill requiring public schools and libraries to prevent minors from accessing social networking sites and chat rooms.
So, moral panic or justified concerns—how do you tell the difference?
